What does lifetime warranty mean?
Most shops advertise that they have a limited lifetime warranty which only applies to certain conditions . Here at Brauntex Auto Body we offer a Limited lifetime warranty on paint failure on repairs and replacement parts. Warranty only applies to have the repair redone at our location, no cash value, not transferable or useable at any other body shop. Warranty doesn't cover rock chips or damage caused by tree sap, bird droppings, or improper car washes.
What are Aftermarket Auto Parts?
Aftermarket parts are cloned parts that are made factories in China and Tiawan typically. They are a lot cheaper than Original Manufacturer parts. Some come certified by independent companies to fit the same as OEM parts. Here at Brauntex Auto Body we use aftermarket parts unless notified by the owner that they do not want them. In our 15 year experience we good success with aftermarket parts.
What does save my deductible mean?
Here at Brauntex Auto Body we are the only Auto Body Shop that advertises that we can save you your deductible. Since we are a smaller shop we have less overhead and can absorb your deductible without sacrificing quality on your repair.
My Insurance Company said I need to use their Preferred shop?
This is a common practice we see here at Brauntex Auto Body. The insurance company uses a practice called Steering to try and lure you into going to one of their preferred repair facilities. The do this because they get a discount on the repair from the preferred facility. So the facility is looking out for the insurance company and not you. So they may do an improper repair to save the insurance company money while putting you back on the road in a dangerous vehicle. Here at Brauntex Auto Body Shop we work with all insurance companies but we are not a preferred shop for any of them. This way we work for you and make sure your auto is repaired properly.
My car has prior repairs on it and most shops wont fix it?
Most large auto bod shops have a policy to not take a vehicle in for repairs that has had prior body work done on the vehicle. Here at Brauntex Auto Body Shop we take this vehicles in on a case by case situation. Unless the prior repair is terrible we will tend to accept the job to repair the auto.
